About/Contact Me
Hello, I am Pilot Mike and I write for ‘Pilot Mike’s Weblog’ where I share my aviation and other life experiences from in and around the Kansas City metro area. I started this weblog (blog) in 2006 after wanting to share my aviation (sometimes technology) stories with others as well as hear from other pilots and aviation enthusiasts.
Pilot by hobby or profession?
By hobby — for now. I am a Private, Instrument Rated, pilot living in the Kansas City metro area with my family and two dogs. During the day (and nights…weekends too) I work as a Network Engineer supporting core data (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless) and voice (PBX/VoIP, call routing, E911) infrastructure components for a local company headquartered in Kansas City. In my spare time I fly.

I enjoy getting email about your personal flying experiences as well as any articles you’d like to see posted here. To help cut down on junk email, I do not directly list my email address, however, please drop me a note using the form below. I will reply and I look forward to hearing from you!
