Interested in Kansas City ATC audio?

I am throwing around the idea of including some type of audio stream of local ATC radio traffic on this site and I would like to gage the interest level. My home is very close to Johnson County Executive Airport (KOJC) and I have good reception of the Kansas City TRACON transmitter for the south side (118.9 MHz). Would streaming audio of local ATC traffic be of interest to any readers here?

Update 03-29-2008: I got a couple of emails and a comment posted that there was some interest. Without much work, I am now providing the feeder site for KOJC at LiveATC.net. Additional information is available on my Live ATC page.

I would love to hear the local OJC audio! I train out of that airport but live too far away to pick up the ground transmissions.
Please keep us posted if you decide to do this.

Thanks for puting up the OJC feed! I work KC Approach on VATSIM and would love to hear a feed from KC APP/DEP. Would this be possible?

Reply from pilotmike: I’ve added in some additional KC TRACON frequencies. The reception may not be great from the ATC side due to my location to these transmitters. You can always check the ‘LiveATC‘ page for the most up-to-date frequency list.

I’m a CFII that flies out of KCAC at KOJC. I saw your Kansas City area live ATC feed on liveatc.net, and wanted to extend my thanks to you for making it available! It’s a great feed and many people will enjoy listening in.

I don’t live close enough to pick up as much as you. I appreciate you putting setting this up.
